Jim Nelson
JIM NELSON lives in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where he works as a freelance writer. Much of his work has been for the stage, film or radio, including everything from a heritage series of musicals, The Ballad of Knobby Clarke, to political satire in a cowboy poetry series for CBC radio, Bunkhouse Breakdown. A masterful storyteller and raconteur, Jim has also had his work featured in regional publications and anthologies. His first book of short stories, Horse Laughs and Hard Knocks, published by Lone Pine in 2000, was a Canadian bestseller.
