Steve McLean
Steve McLean’s passion for music has shaped his life. Although he never hit the big time playing the songs, he’s programmed it, DJ’ed it, booked it and written about it. He also admits a fondness for karaoke. When he’s not immersed in the latest sounds, Steve plays sports from hockey and soccer to lawn darts and Frisbee. He enjoys travelling and has visited about 50 countries around the world. Currently, Steve is the news editor for Chart magazine. He has also written for Billboard, RPM, Music Business International, Music Publisher Canada, FastForward, The Record, and Sonic as well as many other newspapers and magazines. He has a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Wilfred Laurier University and an applied degree in journalism from Ryerson.
