Peter Boer
PETER BOER is a journalist, author and history buff with a consuming fascination with military and aviation history. Perhaps the beginnings of his enduring curiosity can be traced to his prenatal evacuation from the far north by air, apparently--out of an impatience to be born. Peter's fascination with flight grew when, as a toddler, he would fly in the back seat of his father's Piper Archer II. In high school, he was known to read military history books rather than finish his math homework. Peter persevered with his studies, however, receiving a bachelor degree in psychology before studying journalism at Concordia University in Montreal. Peter currently works as a journalist for a Western Canadian newspaper.
