Joyce Harries
JOYCE HARRIES wrote her first book fairly late in life, at age 72. "Girdles and Other Harnesses I Have Known" went on to make the best-seller lists of both the Edmonton Journal and the Calgary Herald. The widow of well-respected Edmonton Member of Parliament Hu Harries continues her new career as an active writer. Joyce is a member of the Writers' Union of Canada, the Canadian Author's Association and the Writers' Guild of Alberta.
