Kindrie Grove is an Alberta born artist, author and illustrator, whose connection to horses has always been a close one. Kindrie grew up on a farm outside of Crossfield, Alberta, where her parents bred and raised Morgan horses, gaining an intimate knowledge of horses, their husbandry and their nature. Today she lives with her husband and her horse Romany in the hills of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Her paintings are featured in galleries in Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, as well as in numerous international private and corporate collections. Kindrie makes a practice of donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of her works to conservation organizations and environmental charities.
