Caleb Putnam is a life-long birder who earned his Masters of Science in Environmental Studies from the University of Montana in 2003. A native of Michigan, he works for the U.S. Wildlife Service in Michigan and is a member of the Michigan Audubon Society. He frequently leads birding tours along the rivers of Montana and Michigan. While he has contributed numerous articles on ornithology, "Montana Birds" is his first book.
GREGORY KENNEDY has been an active naturalist since he was very young. He is the author of many books on natural history, and has also produced film and television shows on environmental issues and indigenous concerns in Southeast Asia, New Guinea, South and Central America, the High Arctic and elsewhere.
