The first film Edgar McFay remembers seeing in a theatre is E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. It was the beginning of a lifelong love affair with movies. For three years, Thay worked as a film reviewer while he was a student at Queen's University. Author of almost a dozen books, he currently lives in Toronto where he harbours dreams of being a screenwriter.
