After toiling in the advertising and publishing industries for several years, GLEN WARNER dropped out of the rat race in 1978 and embarked on a career as a freelance writer. Since then he has earned his living as an advertising copywriter, journalist, author, biographer and award-winning travel writer. His articles have appeared in numerous Canadian, American and European newspapers and magazines. He is the author of The Great Canadian Joke Book and several books on contemporary art and artists. Glen lives in Toronto with his wife Diane and his faithful pal Zoey, a Shetland sheepdog.
