Tim Price first stepped onto the tee box at Fort Worth's Colonial Country Club in 1984--to caddy. He's holding out hope that he can go back some day and have someone else carry his clubs. Tim is a two-time winner of the American Quarter Horse Association's Sprint Award for column writing. His contributions earned the San Antonio Express-News a Top-10 distinction for special sections by the Associated Press Sports Editors. Tim eventually moved back to his native North Texas by joining the writing staff of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He has covered the Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Final Four, Kentucky Derby and world-title fights. Living again in San Antonio, he's a contributor for the Associated Press, nba.com and D Magazine. He lives with his wife Kathleen and two daughters.
