The adventurous type, Andrew Fleming is a scuba diver, ski patroller, and whitewater rafting and kayaking guide. He is also a contributing editor for Adbusters magazine and a freelance writer for the Globe and Mail, Vice, Nerve, Paddler, and many other publications. Since getting his BA in English literature from McGill University, he has also studied film at Vancouver Film School and worked as an actor and stagehand. Andrew currently lives in Vancouver. He has written one other book for Blue Bike Books: Bathroom Book of BC Trivia.
Mark Thorburn loves history and has contributed to and edited several history textbooks and has written for newspapers across North America. His broad educational background of a BA in political science, a Doctor of Jurisprudence and two MA degrees in American and Canadian history has allowed him to live life as a lawyer, a circuit judge, a college instructor , a historian and an author. In his free time, Mark plays sports, reads great books, goes to the theatre and watches classic films. He also likes hanging out at some of Vancouverís well-known spots, including Gastown, Stanley Park, Granville Island and Robson Street.
