David Hudnall worked as a culture writer for an alternative weekly magazine before moving to Chicago to enter the M.A. in Writing program at DePaul University. He has traveled the Midwestern highways his whole life, both on business and on family road trips sitting alongside his two little sisters. He has discovered Midwesterners are hardly boring and far more down-to-earth than “those coastal types.” In the future, David sees himself in media or publishing. He basically plans on riding out this whole writing thing until he can no longer afford to eat.
