KURT RADAMAKER has been interested in nature and birding most of his life. He grew up in Southern California where he started birding at the age of 8 and completed Cornell Laboratory's Seminars in Ornithology at age 15. Kurt taught ornithology at the University of La Verne in California in the early 1990s. He and his wife Cindy both remain avid birders who have traveled extensively in leading bird tours to several areas in the U.S., Mexico and Central America. He is a member of the Florida Ornithological Society, a member of the Arizona Bird Committee and a founding memer of the Arizona Field Ornithologists. Kurt and Cindy live in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
Cindy Radamaker has had a lifelong fascination with birds, mammals and reptiles. As a volunteer bird walk leader for the Arizona State Park System, Cindy enjoys sharing her knowledge and identification skills with beginners and other interested birders. Cindy has co-authored a number of articles for birding journals with her husband, Kurt, and is a published bird photographer in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
GREGORY KENNEDY has been an active naturalist since he was very young. He is the author of many books on natural history, and has also produced film and television shows on environmental issues and indigenous concerns in Southeast Asia, New Guinea, South and Central America, the High Arctic and elsewhere.
